Professor Martin Delatycki AM is a highly experienced clinical geneticist with over 30 years of practice in the field. He has broad expertise across clinical genetic practice with a particular interest in neurogenetics and reproductive genetics.

Martin practices as a clinical geneticist at Monash IVF and is Co-Director of the Bruce Lefroy Centre at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He is an Honorary Professor at both the University of Melbourne and Monash University. He is an author of over 400 scientific publications and has led numerous major research projects including projects focused on genetic screening and the development of therapies for neurogenetic disorders. He played a pivotal role in the development of Mackenzie’s Mission, the Australian Reproductive Genetic Carrier Screening Project.
