Martin assists with the diagnosis, management, counselling, and support of children and adults who have or are at risk of a genetic disorder through family history.

Our Services Include

• Prenatal consultations regarding the risk of an inherited condition or interpretation of abnormalities identified in a pregnancy 

• Carrier screening or chromosomal abnormalities

• Children with a possible genetic condition

• BRCA and other cancer related testing 

• Neuromuscular and neurogenetic conditions

Please note that Martin does not consult in relation to pharmacogenetics or interpretation of direct-to-consumer genetic testing.

Referral Requirements
Martin welcomes referrals from GPs and specialists. Telehealth consultations are available to people across Australia except for individuals requiring a physical assessment. Those who require or prefer an in-person appointment will be seen at our Cremorne clinic.

What to Expect
Once your referral is received, you will be contacted by a member of our team to arrange an appointment. Additional information may be requested about your personal and family history including any previous genetic testing. 

During your appointment, Martin will discuss whether your personal and/or family history may be related to an inherited genetic condition, any available genetic testing options, and ways to manage any associated risks. Genetic testing results will be discussed in a follow-up appointment.
